Fulbari, 16th December: The Border Security Force (BSF) and Border Guard of Bangladesh (BGB) jointly organized a retreat program at Zero Point on the Indo-Bangladesh border in Fulbari on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of Bangladesh.
According to reports, in 2018, a joint parade of soldiers from both countries commenced at the Indo-Bangladesh border checkpost in Fulbari. This year marks the 52nd year of independence of Bangladesh.
It is to be noted that several soldiers were martyred in the Bangladesh war. Since then, along with Bangladesh, the Government of India also observes the day as Victory Day. In addition to the program, greetings were also exchanged between the two countries.
