Boy who went missing in Assam several years ago returns to Siliguri, eagerly waits to reunite with his kins

Siliguri, 25th October: Dev Sutradhar, now 17 years, went missing after he went to Assam with his parents when he was just in the second standard.

After several years, Dev somehow managed to return to his hometown Siliguri. However, the boy does not remember how his parents looked and where he stayed. Apparently, Dev only remembers the names of his parents and the school he used to go to.

Dev Sutradhar said that his father’s name is Kartik Sutradhar and his mother Savitri Sutradhar. As a child, he was a student of Don Bosco School in Siliguri. He went to visit the Kamakhya temple in Guwahati with his parents, where he went missing.

He claimed that he worked in a house in Beltala, Guwahati. Dev said that he could not return home as he did not have any money.

The Himachal Sangha Club authorities are trying to find his parents and help him return home. Furthermore, it was not possible to contact the Don Bosco school authorities as schools are currently closed. Nonetheless, the search for Dev’s parents is still on.
