Nagrakata, 09th October: Sensation prevailed after the body of a 47-year-old man was recovered near the Diana Bridge in Nagrakata. The incident caused a stir in the entire area. The deceased has been identified as Shukra Munda.
According to the family sources, Munda was mentally unwell, due to which, he used to often step out of the house without any proper reason. They stated that he stepped out of his house on Thursday and did not return home that night. Following which, the locals sighted his body, this morning, in the aforementioned area.
Upon receiving the news, the Nagrakata police reached the spot, recovered the body, and sent it to Jalpaiguri for an autopsy. Police have started an investigation into the incident.
