Naxalbari, 02nd November: There was a stir in the area after a blood-soaked body of a youth was found in front of the Naxalbari BDO office late Tuesday night. The deceased has been identified as Tapas Sarkar, a resident of Satbhaiya village in Naxalbari.
According to the information received, on Tuesday night, the police received information that a young man was lying in a pool of blood in front of the BDO office. A team of cops rushed to the spot and took the youth to Naxalbari Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
The body was then sent to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem. As per the police, the youth may have died after being hit by a car. Police have started further investigation.
