Rajganj, 25th July: A blood donation camp was organized under the aegis of Uttar Banga Sanskriti Raksha Mancha and Hindu Jagran Manch in Purba Dhantala High School ground premises under Fulbari No. 02 Gram Panchayat of Rajganj. A target to collect about 50 units of blood was set in the camp.
Hindu Jagran Manch members said that at present, a shortage of blood is surfacing in various hospitals and medicals. “We have come forward today to provide blood in this hour of crisis and have organized the said blood donation camp,” they added. Several youths came forward to donate their blood at the camp. Members of Hindu Jagran Manch maintained that the collected blood would be sent to Terai Lions Blood Bank.
