Rajganj, 11th September: A blood donation camp was organized by the West Bengal Government Employees Federation Darjeeling District Committee (Plain).
The camp was organized on Saturday on the occasion of National Forest Martyrs Day. Several employees donated blood in this camp at Ambari Targhera Maidan. The collected blood will be sent to the blood bank of North Bengal Medical College and Hospital.
“Blood donation camp has been organized on behalf of the employees of Forest Department of West Bengal Government Employees Federation to celebrate Forest Martyrs Day. It is a good initiative. We hope that many people of the society will come forward to donate blood,” Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy said.
The camp was attended by Secretary of West Bengal State Employees Federation Sarajit Pal, Darjeeling District President of the Federation Anthony Rosario, Darjeeling District Secretary Ashok Bandhopadhyay, and other members.
