Rajganj, 12th January: On the occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) organised a ‘Vivek Yatra’ along with a joining programme in Rajganj on Monday.
The procession began from Rajganj College More and concluded at Kalinagar More. Several BJP leaders and workers participated in the march, including Jalpaiguri District BJP president Shyamal Roy, Jalpaiguri district BJYM President Palen Ghosh, block convenor Nitai Mondal, Rajganj BJYM convenor Siddharth Pandit, Mahila Morcha leader Priti Barman, along with other party leaders and supporters.
After the march, a public meeting was held at Kalinagar More, where the joining programme took place from the stage. During the event, around 20 families from the Trinamool Congress and other parties joined the BJP.
BJYM leaders said the main objective of the programme was to organise and inspire the youth by following the ideals and teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
