Siliguri, 13th September: The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) of BJP’s No. 4 Mandal Committee, on Wednesday, staged a demonstration outside the Siliguri Police Station against the increasing crime rate in Siliguri and its adjoining areas. Later, the members submitted a memorandum in this regards.
Arijit Das, Siliguri Organizational District President of BJYM alleged that criminal activities are on the rise in the city and law and order have collapsed. He condemned the incident where the blood-stained body of a youth was found under mysterious circumstances in Ward No. 23 of Siliguri. He, on behalf of the organization, urged the police administration to take control of such grievous incidents.
