Rajganj, 06th September: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a ‘Chakka Jam’ campaign in Belakoba today, protesting against the R.G. Kar incident. The party had called for a statewide ‘Chakka Jam’ on Friday as part of their protest.
In Belakoba, the BJP Uttar Mandal of Rajganj arranged the ‘Chakka Jam’ at Battala More. BJP workers and supporters gathered in a rally from Shikarpur Hat to Battala More, where they blocked the road and staged a protest.
Notable leaders present at the protest included BJP’s Rajganj Block Convenor Nitai Mandal, Rajganj Uttar Mandal President Arjun Mandal, Kisan Morcha District President Nakul Mandal, as well as Debashish Dey and Tapan Roy.
