BJP-Trinamool complement each other, says CPM’s Mohammed Salim

Siliguri, 09th January: Veteran leader of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) Mohammed Salim scoffed at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Trinamool Congress stating that the two parties complement each other.

“Their leaders and workers are going from jail to jail,” said Mohammed Salim addressing a public meeting organized by Fulbari NJP Area Committee of CPM at the Hindi School ground in Siliguri’s Teen Batti More.

He said that Congress and Left alliance will contest 294 seats in the state in the upcoming 2021 Bengal assembly elections. And asserted that the Trinamool will no longer be in power thereafter. Speaking on the COVID vaccine, the CPM said that the Modi government is doing politics concerning the vaccine.

CPIM leaders and activists, including the MLA Ashok Bhattacharya and others were present at the meeting.
