BJP takes out protest rally in Siliguri against ban on ‘The Kerala Story’ in the state

Siliguri, 10th May: With regard to the state’s decision to ban the movie ‘The Kerala Story’, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Siliguri Organizational District Committee held a protest rally today.


Reportedly, a protest rally was organized which started from Hashmi Chowk and circumambulating the busy Hillcart Road, the rally ended again at Hashmi Chowk. Speaking in this regard, Bharatiya Janata Party Siliguri Organizational District Committee President, Anandamoy Barman, said that the state government has banned the film fearing losing in the forthcoming panchayat elections.

    Dear BJP, rally for a movie? It’s not exactly something that will endear you among the voters.
    There are bigger fish to fry.
    Remember, 2014 was successful not because of such petty issues. But on promises of responsible governance.
