Siliguri, 11th February: The death anniversary of Deendayal Upadhyay was observed by the BJP Siliguri Organizational District Mahila Morcha through a scooty rally, on Thursday.
The rally commenced from Siliguri’s Kanchenjunga Stadium and concluded at the stadium itself after touring Hashmi Chowk (Venus More) and MG More (Airview More).
Anindita Roy Das, general secretary of the BJP state Mahila Morcha, said that the death anniversary of Deendayal Upadhyay is celebrated as Samarpan Diwas. Hence, the day is being observed in different parts of the state and different assembly constituencies.
