Siliguri, 08th December: Minister Goutam Deb, during a press conference on Tuesday, made strong remarks regarding the death of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker.
Referring to Ulen Roy’s autopsy report that states Roy died due to shotgun injuries, Deb claimed that the state police do not use shotguns. He highly condemned the incident and accused BJP of killing their party worker for their own political interests. He further alleged that the incident was carried out to defame the state government.
Meanwhile, the BJP has been repeatedly raising questions regarding Roy’s autopsy which was conducted at night.
In this regard, Minister Goutam Deb said that the autopsy was done at night so that the investigation work could start soon. He also said that the incident will be investigated at a high level.
