Kharibari, 16th September: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders and supporters are staging protests in the state accusing police of using force against party workers during their march to Nabanna in Kolkata on September 13.
Likewise, Raniganj-Binnabari and Kharibari-Buraganj Mandal Committee demonstrated at Kharibari police station on Friday. The BJP leaders and workers expressed their anguish against the police and the Trinamool government during the protest. Members of the National Council Ganesh Debnath, Bholanath Siddha Kalyankumar Prasad and others participated in the protest.
Meanwhile, the Naxalbari Mandal Committee also demonstrated at the Naxalbari police station. During this, District Vice President Dilip Baroi, Mandal President Shatrughan Sahni, Suman Barman, Sadan Chakraborty and other workers were present.
