Phansidewa, 04th April: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Raju Bista for Darjeeling Lok Sabha constituency conducted election campaign in Phansidewa on Thursday.
Reportedly, Raju Bista offered prayers at Kali Temple in Jyoti Nagar in Phansidewa and campaigned in a open top vehicle to BDO office and later from Jalas to Rangapani. Later, he offered prayers at Pahari Mata Temple in Liusipukuri.
During the campaign, Raju Bista stated feeling ebullient to witness the enthusiasm of the public. He added that the locals of the area are aware and will vote for the PM Modi and not Trinamool.
Further, he claimed that the locals have not received the supply of water from Jal Jeevan Mission in the area and cautioned the officials of Public Health Engineering Department. Additionally, he alerted the police regarding cattle trafficking at the border.
