Nagrakata, 13th April: Sensation prevailed after a bison entered the Luksan tea garden area this morning around 6 am.
Upon receiving the news, the workers of the Khuniya Wild Life Squad and Diana Forest Department reached the spot and rescued the animal after 4 hours of effort. Later, the animal was taken to the Gorumara forest.
Meanwhile, a crowd of people gathered to see the wild animal ignoring the ongoing lockdown. The police later arrived at the scene and brought the situation under control.
