Siliguri, 18th February: Sensation prevailed after a person, identified as Romi Roy died in a road accident in the Durga Mandir Chiriamore area adjacent to Medical More.
As per the report, at around 4:30 pm on Tuesday, Roy was traveling on his motorcycle when he accidentally collided with the divider. The motorcycle overturned and Roy sustained serious injuries. The locals rushed to his rescue and took him to the North Bengal College-Hospital where the doctors declared him dead. Upon receiving the news, the Matigara police reached the spot and have launched an investigation into the incident.
