Siliguri, 07th April: Bidya Bharati Foundation (BBF), the parent body of Delhi Public School (DPS) – Siliguri, Delhi Public School (DPS) – Fulbari and the Surendra Institute of Engineering & Management (SIEM)- Siliguri donated 1,01 lakh rupees to the Corona Virus Relief Fund Society and West Bengal State Emergency Relief Fund.
Apart from this, they distributed cooked meals to the poor and daily wage earners. The BBF urged the general public to come forward and help the poor in this hour of need in every possible manner.
The Corona Virus Relief Fund Society is presently distributing about 30,000 packets of Khichdi on a daily basis to the poor and needy people in all the 47 wards under Siliguri Municipal Corporation, the Gram Panchayats around Siliguri and also in Darjeeling, Mirik and Kalimpong.
