Siliguri, 23rd July: The Bhaktinagar police, based on a tip-off, launched operations and arrested a youth with illegal cough syrup. The arrested accused has been identified as Pranesh Adhikari, a resident of Bedgara Itvatta in Salugara.
According to police sources, Pranesh Adhikari was arrested from the Bhaktinagar area yesterday. 144 bottles of cough syrup were recovered from his possession. He will be produced at Jalpaiguri court today.
