Siliguri, 11th September: The Bhaktinagar police arrested three youths from the Haiderpara area on charges of drug trafficking. The arrested accused have been identified as Abhishek Gupta, Gaurav Biswas, and Manav Kanjilal. All three are residents of Siliguri.
It has been learned that 200 pieces of intoxicating tablets, drug injections, and 15 bottles of cough syrup were recovered from the arrested youths.
After questioning them, the police learned that the youths used code words to deliver drugs to different parts of the city. A case under the NDPS Act has been filed against the three.
They were produced in Jalpaiguri court today. Police are investigating the whole incident.
