Siliguri, 28th August: The Bhakti Nagar police launched an operation against drugs trafficking and raided the Shaheed Nagar More area. The team seized a motorcycle, about 20 bottles of illegal cough syrup and 384 pieces of intoxicating capsules. Also, the police arrested three persons in this regard.
The arrested have been identified as Amlan Dutta (40) of Samar Nagar, Tapan Paul (23) of Vidyachakra Colony and Mahadev Adhikari (29) of Janta Nagar. All three accused were produced in Jalpaiguri court today.
