Siliguri, 04th February: Footballer Bhaichung Bhutia arrived in Siliguri to encourage the city’s athletes.
Ashok Bhattacharya, chairman of the BoA at SMC, has taken various initiatives to increase interest in sports among the citizens over the years. He has also taken the initiative to renovate the Tikiapara grounds of Ward No. 28.
Bhattacharya accompanied Bhaichung Bhutia to encourage the players of the football coaching center of Tikiapara Nabajyoti Sangha, on Thursday. They also visited different fields in Siliguri and interacted with the athletes.
