Siliguri, 30th December: Bengal Safari Park in Siliguri has broken its previous revenue record once again and set a new record at the end of the year.
On December 25, the park witnessed a record number of visitors which continued throughout the year. On the last Sunday of the year, the park set a new milestone and surpassed all previous earnings. Over 6,000 visitors flocked to the park that day, bringing in over ₹10 lakh in revenue and setting a new record. The park’s management is now preparing for an even busier New Year.
In this regard, Saurav Choudhury, Secretary of the State Zoo Authority, confirmed that December’s final Sunday saw a record-breaking 6,019 visitors, generating over ₹10 lakh in income. Last year, the park earned ₹9 lakh on the same day. He expressed high hopes for the coming days and added that the year-end and New Year celebrations are expected to attract even larger crowds.
