Siliguri, 31st August: The entire region wore a deserted look on the last day of the bi-weekly lockdown of August.
Moreover, fewer people were seen in the streets due to the continuous downpour since Sunday evening.
The police are, however, campaigning on the streets from this morning and making sure the lockdown is not breached.
