Rajganj, 13th March: Sanjay Dutta, the Belakoba Range Officer, came forward to assist the marriage of a differently-abled girl, who belongs to a poor family. The Ranger arranged all the necessary items for the wedding including the wedding meals for the guests.
Pratima Roy, daughter of Govind Roy, is a resident of Manthani Naupara under Baropatia Gram Panchayat in Rajganj. She suffers from hearing impairment and also cannot speak. Due to the poor financial condition of the family, Govind could not afford the cost of his daughter’s marriage. Therefore, Roy sought help from the Belakoba Ranger Sanjay Dutta, who assured the family of providing the best possible help.
On Thursday evening, he handed over new furniture and food items including rice, pulses, fish and sweets. The Belakoba Ranger, apart from his valiant works, is often known for helping the needy. Last year too, Dutta provided a sum of 1 lakh rupees for the treatment of a cancer patient in Rajganj.
