Beggars of Siliguri donated money to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund

Siliguri, 01st April: The entire nation is in the grip of the coronavirus. West Bengal has reported more than 30 positive cases and 6 deaths. To contain the spread of the virus, a nation-wide lockdown has been imposed which is making a huge economical impact on the daily wagers and their families.

While many governments, various voluntary organizations and clubs have extended their financial aid towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, the beggars of the city sought help from the Siliguri Unique Foundation as they wanted to donate a portion of their money too.

The members of the Siliguri Unique Foundation collected the money on Wednesday and stated that the collection will be deposited in the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund through the SDO. On the other hand, the members provided food to the beggars this afternoon.
