Rajganj, 11th June: In a heartwarming gesture, BDO Prashant Barman honored Trishna Roy of Belakoba, the top high school student in the Rajganj block, with a laptop. The BDO visited her residence in Malipara of Shikarpur Gram Panchayat on Tuesday, accompanied by school inspector Sajjad Hossain, to personally congratulate Trishna and present her with the laptop.
Trishna Roy, the youngest daughter of Kusumeshwar Roy, a small business owner, and a tea worker mother, has emerged as the block’s top scorer with an impressive 479 marks. A student of Belakoba Girls High School, Trishna has big dreams of pursuing further studies and becoming a WBCS officer.
BDO Prashant Barman expressed his admiration for Trishna’s achievements, acknowledging the challenges faced by her family. He mentioned that he had learned about Trishna’s outstanding performance through various media and local residents. Despite earlier intentions to visit her, the election code of conduct had delayed his plans. During the visit, Barman assured Trishna of continued support in her educational endeavors and future aspirations.
