Malda, 10th January: Locals say a man was almost shot in the leg after he tried to flee from the robbers near Tulsihata State Road in Harishchandrapur, on Friday morning.
According to the information, Sukhdev Das. a Customer Service Point (CSP) employee of a private bank, was on his way to Allahabad Bank’s CSP office on his motorcycle when four men tried to rob him. When Das tried to flee on his motorcycle, the muggers followed him and fired a bullet. Luckily, Das dodged the bullet and the locals rushed to his rescue.
Upon receiving the information about the incident, the Harishchandrapur Police reached the spot and are investigating the incident.
