Siliguri, 15th January: The body of an advocate, hanging from a noose, has been recovered from a Government Housing. The deceased has been identified as Raju Chettri (27), a resident at a Government Housing in Babupara, Siliguri.
According to sources, his co-workers called him several times in the morning, but he did not respond to their phone calls. The co-workers got suspicious and went to his residence, where, they found Chettri’s lifeless body hanging from a noose.
The Police were immediately informed about the incident. Upon receiving the news, the Police reached the spot, recovered the body and sent it to the North Bengal Medical College-Hospital. The Police are currently investigating the incident.
