Siliguri, 10th April: The Superintendent of North Bengal Medical College-Hospital Kaushik Samajdar informed today that the hospital’s assistant super Sudipta Mandal has tested negative for COVID-19 after his sample was tested for the second time.
Samajdar further stated that the test report was initially COVID-19 positive due to some mechanical fault. However, he was tested negative upon re-test.
As per the report, Mandal was kept on quarantine after he developed coronavirus symptoms and tested COVID-19 positive on Wednesday.
