Siliguri, 30th June: Ashalata Foundation handed over one month’s ration among people with special needs at Philadelphia Church near Santinagar Bow Bazar. Each person was given a sack of rice, pulses, biscuits, oil, and other necessities.
As per the report, the initiative was taken on the occasion of the 16th marriage anniversary of organization head Sunanda Sarkar.
Sarkar said, “There are many people here who have 90 percent special needs. They were given a month’s ration to help them get through these trying times.”
