Bagdogra, 27th June: A tragic road accident occurred in Bagdogra when an Indian Army vehicle lost control and crashed into a roadside tree on Junglee Baba Mandir Road while moving from one unit to another. The mishap took place in a forested area, which made communication and immediate assistance difficult.

Following the incident, officials from the Bagdogra Forest Department, Traffic Police, local police station, and Army arrived at the site. The driver and co-driver of the vehicle were also injured and have been admitted to the hospital. A thorough investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
