Siliguri, 26th September: The birth anniversary of Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar was celebrated on behalf of the Siliguri branch of the Antorjatik Bangla Bhasha-Sanskriti Samiti.
The association workers celebrated the day by holding a press conference at the Siliguri Journalists Club on Saturday. A book titled ‘Annie Fire Jao’, written by Siliguri resident Babli Roy Deb was also published during the event. The 400-page book discusses to allay the fear of snakes among people.
