Siliguri, 25th January: Another attempt has been made to rob the ATM of a private bank in the Gopal More area of Ward No 30 under the Siliguri Municipal Corporation.
According to sources, the local people sighted a person coming out of the ATM with a sharp weapon, on Saturday morning but soon disappeared from the scene.
However, despite opening the ATM display board, the miscreant failed to loot the money. Meanwhile, upon receiving the news of the incident, the Councillor of Ward No 30, Swapan Das, reached the spot. The Police were also informed about the incident. Upon receiving the news of the incident, the Police reached the spot and started investigating the incident.
