Siliguri, 13th August: An awareness discussion camp was organized at Shamsia High Madrasah in Khalpara under the initiative of Anjuman Khidmat-e-Khalq, on Thursday.
The meeting was attended by Siliguri SDO Sumanta Sahay, ACP East Chinmoy Mukherjee, IC of Siliguri Police Station Sudip Chakraborty and several other police officials.
Intending to solve problems concerning the funeral of the people from the minority community, panic among the people due to the fatal virus and others, a discussion camp was held today along with the citizens of Siliguri and its adjoining areas.
The SDO and other officials urged the citizens to not create panic and to stand by people following all safety measures.
