Siliguri, 15th January: Chaos erupted after a fight broke out between two ambulance drivers at Siliguri District Hospital over picking up a patient. One of the men, Sudam Rajbangshi, was severely injured in the incident.
As per the report, a dispute broke out at the hospital between Sudam Rajbangshi and Chhotka Roy, this morning over picking up a patient. The incident created an atmosphere of panic among the patients and visitors.
The situation finally came under control with the intervention of the police, who later detained Chhotka Roy. In addition to this, the injured ambulance driver also lodged a complaint at the Siliguri police station against the incident. An investigation has been launched into the whole matter.
