Rajganj, 12th April: The historic ‘Ganga-Snan Mela’ of Ambari has been cancelled due to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. This year, the Ganga-Snan would be held without the fair.

Reportedly, on April 16, a ‘Purna Ganga Snan’ would be organized on the banks of the Karatoya River located at Ambari of Rajganj block.
In this regard, the organizers stated that this year marks the 56th year of Ashtami Snan. Every year lakhs of devotees gathered for the event. They added that due to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the administration has restricted organizing the fair keeping in mind the safety of the visitors.
