Rajganj, 01st November: On Wednesday, Ambari’s Shakti Sopan Club began its Kali Puja preparations by organizing the customary “Khutti Puja”. Notably, the club celebrates Kali Puja in a very vibrant manner.
Reportedly, Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy arrived at the club for the occasion. The event also witnessed the presence of Binnaguri Gram Panchayat Pradhan Samijjudin Ahmed, Ambari Outpost OC Sandip Dutta, Secretary of the Puja Committee Animesh Goswami, Saha-Sabhapati Rafiqul Islam, and other delegates.
Speaking at the occasion, MLA Khageswar Roy stated that he felt elated to be present at the Puja. He added that every year, the club presents a grand Kali puja. Further, he anticipated that even this year, the club would host a grand puja in Rajganj block.
Meanwhile, club member Tushar Dutta stated that in the 53rd year of the club’s Kali Puja, the decoration will be done by specialized decorators from Maynaguri. In addition, the club will also organize various cultural programs.
