Rajganj, 30th July: Nurses and health workers protested by gheraoing the Block Health Officer (BMOH) of Rajganj alleging misbehaviour.
A nurse named Devani Basu alleged that the BMOH had been mentally tormenting her for four months. are misbehaving. I am mentally broken by his behavior. She further added that she was late for work today due to a death in her family. The BMOH allegedly misbehaved with her for the same.
Another health worker Chitra Dey Sarkar also accused the BMOH of misbehaving with health workers. Apparently, the BMOH had vowed to treat everyone well after the matter had been raised earlier too.
On the other hand, BMOH Dr Ankur Das Karmakar stated that the nurse was only asked to explain the reason for being late. Along with this, some misunderstandings were also discussed with the health workers.
