Cooch Behar, 30th June: Serious allegations have been raised against the Trinamool Congress regarding the alleged throwing of a bomb on the road in front of the house of BJP candidate Santoshi Barman from Booth No. 230 of Pachagar Gram Panchayat in Mathabhanga Block No. 01.
However, the Trinamool Congress has denied these allegations. Santoshi Barman, the BJP candidate, claimed that late Thursday night she heard a loud explosion near her residence. Upon investigation, she discovered that two bombs had detonated. Barman alleged that miscreants affiliated with the Trinamool Congress were responsible for this act, intended to instil fear. In response, Sanjay Biswas, the Pachagar Zone President of the Trinamool Congress, dismissed the allegations as false. He accused the BJP of falsely implicating the Trinamool Congress and suggested that the bombs may have been planted by the BJP themselves.
