Alipurduar, 06th May: Sensation prevailed after a liquor store located at the Samuktala area in Alipurduar was robbed last night amid the ongoing lockdown.
According to sources, the incident came to light after the shop owner noticed the door locks broken, this morning. He then entered the shop and was startled to discover that liquor worth 60 thousand rupees, 1.30 lakh rupees cash, CCTV cameras, and the computer parts were stolen in the incident.
The incident was reported at the Samuktala Police station. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
