Alipurduar, 11th January: The Minister of State, Chandrima Bhattacharya, attended a political workshop organized at the Community Hall, Falakata under the auspices of the Alipurduar District Committee of the Mahila Trinamool Congress. The event was attended by the Alipurduar District Trinamool Congress President, Mridul Goswami, and female members of 13 organizational zones of Trinamool Congress.
Chandrima Bhattacharya mentioned the actions of the State Government taken in the field of women and child welfare. Along with that, she also strongly condemned the Central Government regarding the Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019 (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC).
