Siliguri, 23rd July: On Friday, the Darjeeling District Committee of the All India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA) staged a protest in Siliguri to pay homage to prominent freedom fighter and social activist Comrade Lakshmi Sahgal on her death anniversary.
The workers of the organization staged a protest in front of Anil Biswas Bhawan demanding that everyone should be vaccinated free of cost.
In this regard, the district secretary of the organization Snigdha Hazra said that starting today their organization will provide free vaccines and will continue to protest against the increase in the price of petroleum products till August 15.
