Alipurduar, 09th October: A full-grown leopard was once again trapped in a cage set up by the forest department in the Tasati tea garden of Alipurduar.
According to reports, previously, on Saturday night, a leopard was successfully captured by one of the traps installed in the area. Following this, another full-grown leopard was trapped on Monday morning. Earlier in the morning, the workers spotted the leopard in the area and immediately notified the Jaldapara Forest Department.
Upon receiving the news, the forest personnel swiftly arrived at the location, recovered the caged leopard, and transported it to the South Khairbari Leopard Safari and Rehabilitation Centre. As a result, the locals are currently relieved of the leopard invasion in the area.
