Mangpoo, 07th August: The 83rd death anniversary of nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore was observed in Mangpoo with a series of cultural events.
In a collaborative initiative, the Information and Cultural Affairs Department, Darjeeling, and the Sramik Kalyan Centre, organized the event at the Rabindra Sangrahalaya. Several dignitaries and attendees paid their respects to the great poet by offering floral tributes to his statue. The program included various cultural programs featuring Tagore’s music and discussions.
