Siliguri, 08th October: In a significant collaboration, the Central Colony United Friends Association Club and the Lions Club of New Jalpaiguri (NJP) organized a blood donation camp on Sunday in efforts to address the blood shortage.
According to reports, the event was graced by the chief guest of the event OC Parthasarathi Das from the NJP police station who voluntarily donated blood and encouraged others in the process. The event garnered the active participation of 80 donors. During the event, President Sunil Mohanty of Lions Club in Jalpaiguri, United Friends Association Club Secretary Anis Sarkar, President Biswajit Kundu, and others were present.
