Rajganj, 25th July: An 8-foot-long python has been captured in Ambari near Rajganj. The python was caught Thursday morning by the Karatoya River while entangled in a fishing net.
Local residents reportedly spotted the python caught in the fishing net in the Karatoya River. Subsequently, a crowd gathered to witness the snake, following which forest department officials from the Ambari Range were informed.
Upon receiving the information, forest officials promptly arrived at the scene and successfully rescued the python. Forest officials revealed that the python will be released back into the forest after a preliminary medical examination.
