Alipurduar, 26th January: The nation celebrates its 76th Republic Day on Sunday, and Alipurduar joined in the festivities with a grand celebration at the Parade Ground.
The event began with the hoisting of the national flag by the District Magistrate of Alipurduar, R. Vimala. Following this, a grand parade was held, paying tribute to the national flag.
