Alipurduar, 09th August: 65-year-old Abdul Jalil Mia has been arrested for the alleged attempt to sexually assault an eleven-year-old. The incident took place in the Khoardanga area under Kumargram Police Station of Alipurduar district.
According to reports, the minor reported the entire incident to the family. Subsequently, a case was filed against the accused at the Kamakhyaguri Police Station. Following an investigation, the accused was immediately arrested on Thursday night and produced before the Alipuduar District Court on Friday. At present, the police are investigating the incident further.
