Siliguri, 16th September: The Siliguri police, on Tuesday night, launched operations and arrested a man along with a 9mm pistol. The arrested accused has been identified as Debananda Joshi (52).
In this context, East Zone ACP Swapan Sarkar stated that the accused is a resident of the Siliguri Ward No. 05 Ganganagar area. A 9mm pistol was recovered from his possession, which was planned to be transported to Nepal.
The arrested accused was produced before the Siliguri court today. The police will start an investigation after taking him into police custody.
